
PAMELA PAUL – OWNER, PRESIDENT
Pam started Body Images in 1988 and was one of the first fitness companies that offered classes through several local communities. Her whole family was involved in teaching. Her husband, Scott, and daughter, Deanna, were her inspiration and motivation to open a studio in 1999. She holds A.C.E. certifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, and Lifestyle Weight Management. Pam is also Les Mills certified in BodyStep, BodyPump and BodyVive. Her life is devoted to her family, her students and her business. She has been truly blessed by all those who have supported Body Images over the years.

SCOTT PAUL – OWNER and VICE-PRESIDENT
Scott started out as a serious weight lifter in his early 20′s. He worked out in Detroit at the only “hard core” gym in the area at the time. He trained with some well-known body builders including the first Mr. Michigan.After an injury, Scott was advised to take some cardio classes to regain his health. He decided on a Hi-Low Step program – and as it turns out- that’s where he met Pam, she was the instructor! Scott joined the Body Images team as the only male instructor in 1990. He bacame an A.C.E. Certified Personal Trainer in 1999. He also holds Les Mills certifications in BodyPump and BodyVive.

Laryssa Kozak-Letarte Instructor
Laryssa has been instructing group fitness classes for Body Images since 1992. She holds certifications with the
American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a Group Fitness Instructor and PersonalTrainer.
She is a certified Les Mills Instructor in BodyPump, BodyStep,BodyVive and CXWORX.
She was invited and attended the Les Mills Body PumpTrainer Boot Camp in December 2009 and has since been a member of the Les Mills Champion Team promoting and presenting Les Mills group fitness programs in the Midwest. Laryssa is also currently working on her Aerobics and Fitness
Association of America (AFAA) certification in Primary Group Exercise.
She is ever so happily married to her husband and soul mate Dana (her biggest fan and favorite student)
and together they have two four-legged doggie children, Juni and Chemney.
Although working as an engineer in the defense industry world feeds her mortgage,group fitness feeds her soul with every lift, step and squeeze of the way!

I currently teach Yoga For Body Images through our Warren location.
I also teach in workplace environments well as one on one and private client sessions. I was trained Kest at the center for Yoga, one of the nations top Yoga training programs. I am a registered Yoga teacher and I am very passionate about the positive affects it has on people. I am committed to helping people improve their lives and reduce stress through the practice of Yoga and mindfulness while exploring its physical, mental and spritiual benefits.

Mary Carol Cinder
Mary is ACE Certified as a Personal Trainer, Group
Fitness Instructor and Lifestyles and Weight Management Consultant. She is an
Independent Contractor and has been teaching fitness classes and performing
personal training for over 10 years throughout Macomb and Oakland counties, and
has been with Body Images since 2005.
She specializes in Pilates, Yoga, and Strength Training, and is Les Mills
– CXWORX certified.
Diane Wilson
I experienced my first BodyPump class 7 years ago. I learned about the various classes offered at Body
Images through the UCS community education bulletin and I came to Body Images
expecting to take a Pilates class. However, I had gotten the dates mixed up and
they were conducting a Body Pump class instead. I can still remember Scott
encouraging me to join in and how intimidated I felt when they handed me that
bar with weights! But the music was great, the instructor encouraging (thank
you Laryssa) and I found that after one class I was hooked.
The last seven years have been full of personal challenges. I went through a divorce, entered the world
of single parenting (I am the mother of three wonderful teenagers!) and
continued to dedicate myself to my career as a high school counselor.
Talk about stress!
Through it all I continued taking Body Pump classes. These classes not only help me by
relieving the stress but made me feel empowered to tackle whatever challenges I
encountered. Body pump has made me stronger not only physically but mentally as well.
Two years ago I decided to take my addiction of Body Pump to a higher level by completing
the instructor’s training. I have the opportunity to teach BP for a year and I
love it. Now as a Body Pump instructor I look forward to sharing the fun and empowerment
that Body Pump brings to all who participate!
